The Pirates erased a 24-point deficit to overpower the Chiefs in overtime and improve to 5-0 in the tournament, while also keeping Arellano winless in the season.

The Chiefs squandered a 73-62 lead in the final two minutes of the game, as Letran ended the game on a blistering 27-4 run. The Knights dominated the extra period, 14-2, as the Chiefs ran out of steam.
