Denmark tech startup Linkaiders recently held a simulation in Quezon City of its emergency mobile communications and analytics platform called the Reachi system.

The system developed in partnership with IBM and internet-of-things specialist Neocortec, uses low-power low-cost communication devices to share information over a mesh network even when regular networks are crippled such as during disasters.

Linkaiders said Reachi can help relief coordinators make faster and more efficient decisions.
