Carlo Aquino digs deep into his personal struggles in 'Crosspoint'

Kapamilya actor Carlo Aquino graced the special advance screening of action-drama movie "Crosspoint" in Gateway Mall 2 Cinema 11, Thursday night. 

Aquino's co-actors like Kei Kurosawa, Zeppi Borromeo, Ian de Leon also made it to the premiere except for "Shogun" star Hira Takehiro. Carlo's wife Charlie Dizon also attended the premiere night. 

Unlike his previous projects which are mostly in the romance and drama realm, Aquino leaps into action in Crosspoint, a breath of fresh air for him and his loyal fans in his three-decade career. 

Aside from the intense action scenes, Aquino easily related to what the movie was trying to convey. 

"Kahit anong mangyari sa buhay mo, binibigyan ka ng Diyos ng isa pang araw para makita yung sunrise, may pag-asa pa. Hindi ka dapat susuko, binibigyan ka ng pagkakataon." 

"Ilang beses na akong sumadsad, ganun talaga ang buhay eh. Rollercoaster talaga. Ang importante lang ay lalakasan mo yung loob mo," he said.

 Shot mostly in Japan, Crosspoint will be shown exclusively in cinemas on October 16 and will also screen in Japan next year.
