When you ask Kriszia "Kring" Prologo—better known as VJ Kring—how she sees herself on screen, she doesn’t hesitate to say, "VJ Kring brings the wits and the streets to your TV screens."

It’s a bold statement, but one she lives up to with every appearance. From staying up late watching MYX Mo reruns with her siblings to now being one of MYX’s newest VJs, Kring’s rise is rooted in a genuine love for music, a strong sense of self, and the grit to chase something bigger.

Before stepping in front of the camera, Kring worked in communications for a non-profit. But even then, she felt a pull toward something more dynamic. “There’s always something in me that thinks I should be doing something more. I should be experiencing more fun things,” she shared.

That push led her to take a chance on the MYX VJ Search. Armed with experience from hosting campus events and community shows, Kring brought both polish and personality to her audition.

“I have the necessary skills… I know how to interact, how to interview. And I love music,” she said confidently.

It wasn’t just talent that got her to where she is now—it was preparation. She brushed up on old MYX episodes, studied different hosting styles, and immersed herself in the local music scene. That attention to detail paid off. Now that she’s part of the MYX family, Kring is embracing the job with open arms and wide eyes.

“I get paid to attend concerts, to enjoy, to do what I love,” she beamed. What more could she ask for, right? But she also knows there’s so much more to the job than showing up with a mic.

VJ Kring told Metro.Style, “How do I make it more interesting? How do I dig into artists in ways their own content doesn't? That’s the challenge.”

Her taste in music reflects her wide-ranging curiosity. From OPM icons like Regine Velasquez to pop stars Britney Spears and Gwen Stefani, to K-pop powerhouses EXO and Girls’ Generation, Kring’s playlists are as lively as she is. Lately, she’s been drawn to house music and artists like Berlioz and Chappelle Roan, whom she admires for blending bold visuals and boundary-pushing art.

Still, one dream remains high on her list. To interview MYX Magna awardee Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and “ask her how music feels now, after all these years. “Grabe, that would be priceless,” she quipped.

As a new addition to the MYX VJ lineup, Kring is excited to bring a spark of spontaneity to the screen.

“Thank you for being so welcoming. I’m excited to bring more fun to the function with you guys. Tune in—marami pa tayong ganap,” she declared.

With her warmth, wit, and willingness to do the work, VJ Kring is more than just “makulit”—she’s a host with heart, a fangirl with fire, and a name that’s quickly becoming one to watch.

Joining VJ Kring in the new gen MYX VJ lineup are Robbie Jaworski, Ameera ‘Eya’ Almamari, Ella Regudo, Ozzie Llige, Jarren Garcia, and Samm Alvero, and together, they're all set on delivering the latest music and pop culture happenings with a fun and fresh approach.
