Authorities have identified the man who was killed by police in a shootout inside the Archbishop's Palace in Cebu City.

Senior Supt. Royina Garma, director of Cebu City Police Office, identified the fatality as Jeffrey Cañedo of Barangay Labangon, Cebu City.

Cañedo went to the Archbishop's Palace past 10 a.m. Tuesday to speak to Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma.
