Amihan cools Northern, Central Luzon

Expect cooler weather this Monday as the northeast monsoon brings lower temperatures in Northern and Central Luzon.

Weather bureau PAGASA said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with light rains while Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and CALABARZON will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the amihan.

Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Negros Island Region, Caraga, Sorsogon, Masbate, Capiz, Iloilo, Davao Oriental, and Davao de Oro will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

As of 4:00 AM today, PAGASA is not monitoring any low pressure area for tropical cyclone formation.
